Older projects
A collection of webdesign projects from former employers
WoningGids
2014 - At Momkai, I collaborated with a talented UX designer on WoningGids, a social renting website offering rooms and apartments in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We created a responsive design where users could register, search, view, and interact with listings. My job was creating the visual design which I still admire for its flat, modern, and minimalist design, often contemplating the possibilities had it progressed beyond the concept stage.
Spa Zuiver
2012 - At Momkai, I worked on the redesign of Spa Zuiver's website, a prominent wellness resort in Amsterdam. Utilizing a concept design created by the creative director as my foundation, I designed all the pages of the site based on client feedback. Additionally, I presented the design to the client, ensuring alignment with their vision and objectives.
Eurail
2012 - This was a redesign project for Eurail, a service that allows travelers to explore Europe by train using a single ticket. This project involved extensive custom design and Photoshop work. I developed the concept design, which I then presented to the client. Subsequently, I proceeded to create all the pages for the comprehensive redesign.
The New Motion
2011 - During my tenure at Advertising Agency Woedend!, I had the privilege of leading the redesign of The New Motion's website. At the time, electric driving was just emerging as a niche market. This occurred well before its acquisition by Shell.
Kia.nl
2010 - During this period, Kia was still a relatively minor player in the Dutch car market when they approached Woedend! to revamp their website. Taking charge of the visual design, I worked closely with the Kia team to develop a fresh and appealing design. It proved to be a remarkable project, coinciding with Kia's rapid ascent in the Netherlands post-redesign. The launch of the Kia Sportage may have also contributed to its success.
Asics.nl
2007 - My first significant project, and what a project it was! I collaborated with our creative director on the website, while others focused on an ad campaign for The Gel-Kinsei shoes. Additionally, I contributed to banner campaigns and created numerous print visuals for in-store and street promotions.
